Based on the comments I received from readers and friends, I will be consolidating my two journals into one at amberkitsune .  If you have not friended that journal yet, please do so.

I am interested in some input.  Should I combine my two journals into one at amberkitsune  (my oldest journal and my only paid one at this time), or keep them separated as I have them now?  I am finding that I sometimes don't post an update because I am logged into the wrong journal for the topic at hand at the time and don't feel like switching for whatever reason.

I also notice that I have a few mutual friends on this journal who have not friended that one.  I wonder if that is because they are not interested in a writing site only?  Would these people friend that one if I shut this one down?

I noticed tonight that I really need to move my evening shower to an earlier time. I seem to do all of my story composing in my head while I am in the shower. Unfortunately, showering at nearly midnight leaves no time to write down right away what I composed. Maybe a reshuffling of my evening schedule is in order here. For now, I am moving all posts about my writing over to my other journal amberkitsune . It has been renamed and refocused for that purpose. So if you are following my journal for my writings, that is the one to watch.

I just finished posting Chapter 20 of A Little Fox Tale. Sorry for the long delay in getting this chapter out the door. I wrote half of this chapter back in July, and the other half a week ago. Life is finally stabilizing enough for me to be able to write again.

I finally finished chapter 20 and sent it to my reviewers. Assuming they don't come back and tell me it needs more work, I hope to post it in the next week or so.

I just sent chapter 19 of A Little Fox Tale out to a couple of proofreaders for review. As soon as I get the comments back and have a teaser from chapter 20 to tack onto to the end, I will post 19.

As I mentioned in a comment, I have been super busy lately.  School here is Virginia ends a little later than most of the rest of the country.  The first half of June has been spent with the various ceremonies that parents have to attend in order to support their children.

As soon as that was done I started focusing on job finding and packing for my upcoming move.  I and my family are moving to Abilene, Texas, on July 20th thru 23rd.  I am hoping to get word today or tomorrow that the apartment we applied for has been approved.  (An unbelievable number of them in that town either will not accept my daughter's hamsters, or they hold my filing for bankruptcy in 2002 against me.)  I would prefer not to impose on friends there any more than I need to.  While this is all going on, I am still working at my current job until July 15th.  Sorting through old paper work and writing procedures for my boss and replacement so they are not totally lost without me.

What this boils down to is that I might be a little absent from the Internet for the next four weeks, until things settle out.  I am still slowly working on A Little Fox Tale as well as I have started another story that I think might be interesting (it is to me anyway).  I hope to have chapter 19 up soon, so be patient with me.  ^_^

I have wanted this book for a few months now. Amazon dropped the price from $32US to $22US recently so I pounced on it. I am just unsure where I am going to file it on my bookshelf when I am done, "religious studies" or "Japanese Folklore".
